You can put me on the "love PRI" side..one of my favorite hotels anywhere. I stayed in February and in July of this year.

No housekeeping issues that I saw- only minor gripe is putting somewhat green wood by the in room fireplaces.

When you arrive, drive all the way up to the lobby and they'll transfer your luggage and valet your car (included).

For the Lexus, tell them when you want it (the convertibles get snapped up). There's a quick form, that's it.

There's nothing like the beautiful views. Every time we stay we say we'll eat at Big Sur Bakery, but we always end up eating at Sierra Mar for every meal. I do feel that the breakfast gets repetitive for return guests. They recently installed phones at the pool and far hot tub, so its muvh easier to call for a drink/snack remotely.

FS Palo Alto: not a resort. A suburby hotel.

The grounds of Rosewood look interesting, though I haven't stayed.

For a true California coast experience, nothing beats PRI in my opinion. Every time they have to drag us out at checkout ^.
