Thanks for all the advice this far. Two clarifications:

1. I will not be driving the car off-road, just on some fairly
rutted unimproved dirt roads.

2. I think ANY SUV will have high enough clearance for this.
Some people say you can use a regular sedan if you're really
careful. I don't think I'll need 4WD at all.
