ZRH is probaby the European Hub that allows the shortest cinnections. 35 minutes are enough for passenger AND checked luggage. This makes it the most efficient airport in Europe. If only Swiss flew to more destinations!
I managed a 17 minute connect (was scheduled for 50 mins but the snow in TXL was a problem) TXL-ZRH-BHX last December, my bag made it. My carry on nearly didn't get past the bus gate wardens until I pointed out I was flying C.
MUC and DUS are the only other two airports in Europe I will try sub 1-hour connects at.
