Very positive news ("about time" is right!).

It's very sad that our elected representatives allowed them to reap unjustified* gains for so long, and that apparently AA is not refunding any of the ill begotten funds.


*unjustified because, amongst other things, it meant that a $31 credit was in effect only worth $1 unless utilized far in advance for its mailing, a significant misrepresentation, and it has always been in AA's power to create e-certs making their in-person use for flights where mailing was not a practical option, and for $30, a customer choice and not an obligation and imposition by AA.
