50 euros for shipping; I bought both the suitcase and the cabin bag which folds completely flat. Since the two pieces could be put into one box, Koffer-Direkt agreed to charge one 50 euro fee. (It is 50 euros/item generally.)

Savings:
VAT since items were shipped out of the EU

I was initially charged for two shipping fees, but Koffer-Direkt did ultimately refund the extra shipping cost. My lack of German certainly was a hindrance in the process, but I appreciated their willingness to ship to the States.

I am very happy with my two pieces.
