Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks? Yes. Size of lounge was good. Had expected more food for a lounge dedicated to LH flights. Showers would be a good addition; due to the late hour of many flights, people are arriving after a full day of work and a shower before boarding a 13.5 hour flight would have been nice.

Were the crew professional & well groomed? Yes. Welcomed on-board by name.

Was a pre-departure beverage offered on the ground? Yes. Sparkling wine (appropriately described) / OJ / Water.
Did crew offer to hang your jacket? N/A
Were newspapers & menus distributed and meal orders taken (Please specify when meal orders were taken - on the ground or in the air)? Menus/newspaper/after take-off drink order on the ground. Meal orders taken in the air personally by the SD Landis; orders taken by status.

Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (From takeoff to all items collected) 1.5 hours.
How was the quality of all the meals? Dinner: Appetizer was wonderful; Beef was very over-peppered. Skipped dessert. Snack: Grilled cheese was good. Breakfast: Offering was entirely different from the menu given. Pancakes were the only thing left and expectedly mushy.
Did the cabin crew continuously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? Yes. Refills were offered constantly when I was awake.

Wonderful first experience in LH J. Landis and the rest of the rear-cabin J crew did an excellent job of showing us a good time.
