They are also exploring a new DoubleTree logo. I got the online test for it, and reviewed the materials. They were considering a logo for Doubletree which was an actual tree standing next to a massive serif font D.

I told them..."so this is a "D list" hotel now? It looks like the logo for a hotel that Ichabod Crane would stay at on Halloween Night."

The new Hilton logo is an improvement. The current twin trees logo for Doubletree is pretty nice. No idea why they'd consider changing it.
