The ex-TWA planes are infinately more comfortable in first than the AA planes. I do my best to avoid AA coded flights because I'll take the more comfortable seats over marginally better catering. I still chuckle everytime I read on this board about someone preferring AA coded flights when ex-TW is available. Nutty.

Those AA blue seats on MD80s in first are atrocious. I've ripped two pairs of pants on that **** recline seat knob on the armrest. The brown monsters in the 757's are the most uncomfortable thing in the sky.

LAX-MIA AA 757 redeye first class = pure torture.
