The E470 bypass around Denver will cost about $10 in tolls and take about an hour, I think. Compare that to time and frustration of possibly dealing with stop and go traffic in Denver, even outside of prime rush-hours, to determine if you want to pay for an easy drive. E470 uses Fast Pass and license tag based tolling, so you don't stop at toll plazas.

Thanks. For an out-of-state driver who never uses toll roads or has any toll-type passes, it doesn't sound like E470 is a particularly viable option.
