Maida Vale is far and away the least expensive Marriott property in London but I haven't been able to find any reviews on it.
1) Has anyone stayed there/are there posted reviews?
2) Is there a better choice that will not cost too much money and will be closer to the conference center? Marriott Kensington is 60 pounds more per night and although Regent's Park is a little cheaper, I don't like staying there at all.
Thanks,

I stayed at the Maida Vale a couple of years for the exact same reason, we were there on business and Maida Vale was cheapest and it was brand new at the time.
When we were there, it was new and the staff was good but not great. It is also relatively close to the tube and is one of the few that has a pool. Except for it being in London, it is just a generic FS Marriott. There is nothing special about it except for the price. For my group, it did not matter because we were working or out and about the whole day. There are pubs and restaurants in the neighborhood though you could tell that at one time it had been a little more rough around the edges in spots. If you have any specific questions, you can PM me, but like I said, pretty generic.
