Tier points for Club World flight change

So, if you've read my JFK-BOM trip report, you'll know that on the last leg of a trip I took recently, I just missed the BA3 from LCY-JFK, so my ticket was changed to the BA183 LHR-JFK. Because of the last minute ticketing, tier points/miles for this last segment were not automagically awarded.

So, this presents an issue. I booked myself onto the LCY flights only because they give 180 TPs as opposed to the standard 120 in Club. The question is, since I booked into this higher TP class (CWLCY class) but flew in standard CW class (lower TPs), how many TPs am I actually eligible for?

The way I see it, there are 3 options

(a) I should be awarded 180 TPs because the original ticket would have yielded that amount.

(b) I should be awarded 120 TPs because that's how much the flight flown earns.

(c) I should be awarded 120 TPs, but should also receive some sort of compensation for being "downgraded".

(d) Something else?

Now, I should also ask this. Would the answer change if I was on a full fare J ticket vs a restricted J ticket (which technically is not eligible for a free change)?
