Help me understand one thing... Does CO treat 'miles' and 'EQMs' differently? I have always valued my United mileage run ideas based on the EQMs, because I am flying to keep/earn status. The regular miles I earn do me little good directly because I don't fly enough each year to redeem them... I need to use the time I have my rear in a seat earning EQMs.

One of these days I will start redeeming the miles for trips for friends & family.
