Would I be right to assume the concierge would be an exception to the general no-tip guidelines above, if they are active in helping with tours, itineraries, tickets, reservations etc.? For me right now this has to do with upcoming stay in Madrid, but I think maybe the answer would apply equally through most of Europe at least today...
