I'm trying to get up to Platinum status before an upcoming trip (my bachelorette party) in the hopes I get upgraded.

I'm about 8 stays/15+ nights away, and will be staying in hotels weekly all the way up to the trip.

It will be easier for me to fulfill 8 stays by bouncing from hotel to hotel each night in the city I'll be traveling to each week, rather than my usual continuous stay at one hotel. Does anyone know if that's an issue from the Starwood side? It's an inconvenience on my end, really, so hopefully it's not breaking their policy or something.

I already tried contacting SPG about early upgrade to status since I'll be traveling for many months to come like this, but they said I don't qualify since I'm so many stays and nights away.

Thanks in advance for any help! Any tips will be greatly appreciated... by me and my friends when we are hopefully upgraded at the W for my last weekend as a single girl!
