I would also recommend Gruyeres which is very nice. (3-4 hours away)

Montreux, Lausanne are lovely lake side locations.

And if you have two weeks, train from GVA is reasonable and you can reach many destinations. (3.5 hours to Paris for example center to center with tickets being quite reasonable)
