As suggested in the previous reply, answers to both of your questions are heavily dependant on which airline you fly and where you are going. Some domestic airlines have power ports in first and/or business class seats but not all have them in economy. For international flights, you can almost always count on power in the premium classes but only on some airlines in economy.
Your question on medications can vary widely by country. For example, Japan regulates Sudfed and you can get into trouble carrying it into the country. For prescriptions, you are probably ok carrying enough for your stay in the original, labeled bottles but in some cases you will want to have an original prescription signed by your physician.
