Left ontime, landed early, arrived 30 minutes late.
Flight 8008 yesterday CMH - ORD. Left on time, landed 15 minutes early. I believe that an early arrival is never good, always hold on the ground then.
We sat for a full 30 minutes on the taxiway, near the gate, in a parking area. We weren't told anything until I rang the call button at the 30 minute mark.
The FA called the pilot to ask what the deal is, still no announcement, and then we taxi to the gate. Again, no announcement until the FA said "sorry about the delay folks, your carry-on....."
Since we sat for 30 minutes I would have expected a "they don't have a parking spot for us" announcement but apparently that's not the protocol.
Should they tell us what is going on?
