Given the convenient 90min connections at BRU towards 9W's destinations in N-America, it might actually be in the best interest of Sri Lanka (and of the local tourism industry) to allow 9W to connect CMB to its BRU hub.
Yes i agree too, this will be good for both jet airways and sri lanka.
I don't know how this would work on the American side... maybe 9W would need to put a tag-on on these CMB-BRU flights to a (new) N-American destination??
Maybe there is a new destination coming up in N America, anyone heard anything or previous speculations before the recessions? Well it does not surprise me that they are wanting to start new destinations, after they expressed that they wanted to expand, by starting a new route to CDG (on the other thread - link available too).
Also, I heard a few months back i think that there were no more slots free at BRU at the same time as the other 6 fights enter. Has another airlines dropped BRU, making this a reality?
