What are the current schedules for TG LAX - BKK

Besides TG - What are the best flight options for getting from the USA East Coast to Thailand?
I just booked JFK-FRA-BKK-FRA-JFK in F on LH and TG metal. ^ This routing can be done ex. EWR as well. The total TATL and TPAC 'two flight' travel times are about the same from NYC. It all depends on what time you prefer to depart, what time you prefer to arrive, and connection times. With TATL the flight times are like 8 hours and 10 hours, compared with like 14 hours and 4 hours on TPAC itins.

IMO the TG BKK-LAX flight arrives too late for onward travel the same day. With LAX it is not a great idea to transfer from international to domestic flights with short connection times, because you will have to change terminals. Better to transfer abroad and have your US destination be your entry point.

If you want to get crazy and extend your premium flight experience you can look at NYC-FRA-(INC/HKG/NRT)-BKK, with HKG looking like the most convenient. Heck, last year on short notice I booked BKK-ICN-NRT-LAX-JFK on the return.

If you are looking to book F or C I would recommend looking at FRA (LH) TATL or INC (OZ JFK) TPAC. There is also Eva Air (BR) as an option in C from EWR if you are using CO miles; althought the BR hard product is inferior when compared to the other options.

Are you working with the ANA tool? It really is invaluable when planning reward travel. I just make sure the flights are available, call the awards redemption desk, and give them the date/flight specific details. It is a very straight forward process.
