Most if not all of the promos you mention, and that are in that thread, are for 3+ day rentals.
Not true. If you look at post #1 of
that thread the promotions are categorized by
1) Car rental agency
2) Airline/Point program
3) Minimum rental qualification.
There are many many promotions listed for 1-day and 2-day rentals.
BTW, I love your new word "allududed".
FTR, with Delta's SkyMiles Marketplace, if one holds a Delta-branded Amex one can redeem SkyMiles for free car rentals (hotel stays too)
