Depends how big your 8 month old is. If he/she can fit in a bassinet I would choose the bassinet row, that is if you think he/she will sleep in a bassinet. I don't like the odds of having a 4 seat block with the 2 middle seats occupied. Depending on how busy that route is, it could easily fill up, and although it sucks not having acess to an asile, 2 seats together even in the middle could become a premium.
