The family enjoyed our three-night stay last week. Used the "Sunshine on Sale" promo to get the third night of accommodations free, saving over $500.

Accommodations were exactly as stated online - king bed with bunk beds for the older kids and a crib for my daughter. The beds and linens were all comfy and cozy. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo, which was very helpful for bathing the kids after time in the pools.

Wind off the river made sitting by the outdoor pools a bit cool, and the water temperature was on the chilly side, but we were able to utilize all of the outdoor activities. The indoor pool was very nice, and the hotel had some of the overhead doors open to let in some of the fresh air.

All of the activities/amenities were great. The family enjoyed the opportunity to play 4 holes on the River Marsh golf course after 4 pm for $15/ea. The staff told us to play as much as we wanted since it wasn't very busy. The crowd definitely picked up on Saturday, with more families and a couple of wedding parties taking up residence. I was told they were about 80% full for Sat. night. Thu and Fri must have been no more than half of that. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves, which was probably true due to the religious holidays and schools being back in session.

I highly recommend this resort for families and even for couples. The infinity pool provides a nice refuge from children.

Jellyfish were prevalent, so I guess it's no surprise that the resort doesn't promote its "beach" very much. I was told that the jellyfish reside in the river from Memorial Day to mid-September, so that precludes any swimming other than in the pools.

Camp Hyatt and the pirate cruise were big hits with my 6 and 4 year olds. They were the only children in camp on Fri. afternoon and basically got to create their own itinerary with the counselor.

All in all, it was a very fun trip and the resort met or exceeded my expectations on almost all fronts. We look forward to returning sometime, but, based on comments in this thread and on TripAdvisor, probably not during the peak season from Mem. Day to Labor Day.
