I'm almost in the same boat but I'm going to make sure that I earn the level miles one way or another. I've found KL flights to be quite expensive this year and so have redeemed miles and flown other airlines for my travel. Now it's time to start planning in earnest to make sure that I retain Platinum.

Fingers crossed for some sort of promotion to help compensate for the volcanic ash fiasco.
