I suggest you read up on the effects of high doses of sugar and phosphoric acid on the balance of minerals and fluids in your body if you believe drinking 6 cans of ginger ale constitutes "hydration."
Good point. I think it was 4 cans or so, and I for some reason assumed ginger ale was somehow less bad than standard sodas (which I never drink).
