Bear in mind that the (excellent) breakfast is $35 + 10% and the value of drinks range from about $8 (beer) to $15 (cocktails), again + 10% of course. We were in a water villa both times so the issue did not arise for us, but if we had to choose we would probably go for the cocktail hour and have one breakfast delivered to our villa (my wife is not a big breakfast eater anyway) and eat it on the villa's sun deck. If you both eat breakfasts then the question is: can you drink $75 worth in one hour? We could (and did)!
We have confirmed a DWV and it makes me feel a bit better about the extra $780++ per night if we get free drinks too. I hadn't picked that feature of these rooms up from earlier in this thread so that was very helpful thanks.
