If YYZ-Europe-YYZ-YUL really is several hundred $$ cheaper than YYZ-Europe-YYZ, it may be worth it. Whenever I looked into booking similar city pairs (YYZ/YUL, YYC/YEG etc.) the difference was more like $50, so I didnīt go for it.
