I'm signed up for a Marriott "Free Night Stay Promotion" offering one free night for every 2 stays, awarded as an e-cert.
One of my upcoming stays involves a special rate at a convention.
This text is in the Marriott Terms and Conditions:
Marriott Rewards e-certificates are valid only in connection with individual travel and are not applicable to group travel, package tours, conventions or other special rates and/or package programs.
I'm unsure of what this means. Does this mean I will, or will not, get stay credit for the convention?
