My experience on AUS-IAH (flew just a few times) was that at least in first I've received beverage services.

That said, this is a what, 30 minute flight if that, I'm not going to be that upset if they didn't serve.

MHT-EWR (about 45-55 minutes) I've flown VERY often has almost always (give or take once in a while because of weather they didn't) on ExpressJet a beverage service. Also BOS-EWR generally always offers beverage service, at least in my experience.

CO handles this far better than my previous airline -- US Airways which would say on a PHL-MHT OFTEN "Due to the short duration of this flight...." either no service, water service, or you have to specifically ask.
