Most people are looking for the shortest duration and/or shortest connections. Seems reasonable to me that the booking engine would omit convoluted routings and connections lasting for hours when there are 'better' options.

As posted, you can do your own timetable research and come up with what you want but you most likely will not be able to book it online and must call the airline.
