Well, this year has been a bad year for me and Flying Blue: No flights so far. Not that I'm worried about it, it's mainly because of the unbeatable US-Airways miles deal. I do have a booking to BRU for October which will give me a soft landing to silver, that's it.
FB was a bit more worried about me and sent me a letter, stating that I have no flights so far and that there are more than 900 ways to keep my Gold status… but no mentioning of a special mileage offer. I'm wondering, if anybody else with no flights so far has received such a letter.
