I have no OW miles so far.
OK, I know I should not expext anything. But is there a FF programm which gives me anything with that?
Thanks a lot!
Here is your problem.
Deep discount economy fares earn VERY LITTLE or nothing at all in many foreign airlines program. Only US airlines award 100% flown miles on any fare on their OWN metals (their own flights), and only a fraction, sometimes very small fraction, like 25%, on partner flights for the deep discount fares.
You may want to check QF and AA programs to see how much your fare codes would earn, before you decide which program to put your miles to.
There is no such thing called OW miles. Member airlines each have its own program and the miles are not transferable among programs. However you can use one member's program to redeem flights on another member (partner award). Each member's program has its own rules and the differences can be big.
As for AS program, I dont think you would earn 100% on QF flights but check to find out. We do use AS program as a catch-all program when there is more advantageous to put there instead of other programs.
