I have a similar question. I booked a ticket on OZ's website from PHL-ORD-ICN-PEK-ICN-LAX-PHL. The flights into and out of PHL are US metal, all the rest are OZ. I used my US Airways frequent flyer number when booking and now the reservation is listed when I log into my US Airways account but it has a different confirmation number than the one OZ assigned me. I have been assigned seats all the way there and back, but I cannot change my OZ seats anywhere; A month ago, I signed up on Asiana's website for the purpose of being able to change seats etc. but Asiana cannot locate the reservation. A few weeks ago, I was able to reassign my seats but that was for PEK-ICN-PEK.

Also, will I be able to check in on the US Airways website for all my flights, and will upgrades be available for the US flights even though I purchased through OZ? I am able to select Preferred seats for the US flights right now.

And finally, is there a better thread/forum for this question?
