I'd be more than happy to purchase one (or two) if the airlines would sell them to me. That hasn't worked in the past. If you knew the amount of my own money I've spent flying around this great world, I don't think you'd view this as the crime of the century. You'll probably respond by saying that two wrongs don't make a right. Believe me, I don't lose any sleep over it. And I've instructed my wife to return them to their rightful owners upon my passing. Does that make you feel any better?
