A moment of silence.

Whatever our politics or belief systems, I would encourage us all to take a moment to remember those whose lives were affected by the events of 9/11.

And a special thanks to all the FT'ers around the world who went above and beyond to help those in need - sometimes with something as simple as a cell phone call or a hot meal; sometimes much more.

I was a new FT'er then, still a nervous flyer, and frantic about hearing from my family and friends in NY. And I might never have gotten on a plane again without the support of my fellow FT travelers. While my plight was minor compared to many others, I am very grateful for FT and its members.

Rest in peace, all those who lost their lives. May the healing continue for those who remain.
