Folks, great & thanks for those links - going to bookmark it on my traveling notebook for easy access.

Here in US, I generally use "The Weather Channel" popular cable channel with mobile apps, and that's what it was showing as the extended forecast for HK next week - "trusting" it for travel & packing guide. The H.K. Observatory's website is very clear, concise & useful with temperature readings for various parts of the city.

Re-check my regular weather . com website link for HKG and it's STILL showing t-storms for next week whereas HKO's website is showing fair skies with only isolated showers for part of next weekend only - what a difference.

Looks like I will need to do re-configure my mobile browser apps to sometime else for our upcoming Asia trips. I am NOT seeing any mobile links for HKO's weather site but I am going to google a different apps for our travel.

It is interesting to see that it's easily one degree C warmer at the airport (near open waters/sea breeze, etc.) vs. Central/TST or city centre locations with all those tall concrete skyscrapers.

Flying CX next Tuesday on the JFK-HKG route non-stop on 77A so it's fine with that big bird. The following week, we are doing a loop up to PVG and back on KA's smaller A321 so it will be a "little" more challenging ride depending on the weather then ....
