I don't know if it is "standard" or not, but when I was at the Grand Cayman RC a year or so ago on an award stay, we were offered something like $100/day to upgrade to a club level room.

BTW, if you are asking about using points to upgrade, I don't think that is an option with RCs. You can use points to get a room there, but if you want more than the basic "standard" room and view, you will have to pay cash or fall on the mercy of the local hotel management.
