Yesterday on the 10:55PM LAX-ATL flight, I showed up at the gate around 10:25 and to my surprise they were boarding all zones... Not a problem, but then something looked fishy there were two looooonnng lines, and then I realized that the general passengers are using BOTH the general boarding lane and the SkyPriority lane

I sucked it up and waited in line and of course the jetway [gate 57] was backed up all the way to the boarding machines.

Apparently at some stations once they start zone 3 the SP lane is free for all.... I think they did not do zone 3 then 4, they just boarded everyone at once after zone 2.

To the GA's credit there was one F seat open and before the door closed he came on and upgraded whoever was on the top of the waitlist...
