From Travel and Leisure, as posted
here on cnn.com:
Part outsize beach resort, part culture capital, Sydney, Australia, exemplifies the art of relaxed cosmopolitanism.
It's urbane but not pretentious; cutting-edge but not stressed-out.
Now a handful of players is channeling that Aussie energy into new restaurants, hotels, and boutiques in some oft-overlooked (and distinctly chic) neighborhoods.
The article goes on to give specific "in" suggestions for shopping, night life, eating, sleeping and SYD airport.
I don't know Sydney well enough to comment on any of the suggestions, most of which aren't targeted at me anyhow - but perhaps some locals can?
