So I have checked and checked again and there still is no Business or First for standard Aeroplan points on the routes / dates I want. But what I can not understand is if I go to Air Canada .com there are no passengers booked into any First or Business class seats.

Now it is short haul but this is a bit ridiculous. So there really isn't a 40,000 point redemption, it is 112,000 points. Nice way to inflate the price.

Are others finding this on other routes?

Thanks for letting me vent. (I have booked many Aeroplan trips for a family of five to Europe and this solo trip to the US is proving must difficult. Maybe I will have to fly WestJet.)
