The ability to use KE at the 20k/40k award levels has been perhaps the only good part of this merger for me. On NW, it required 50k/70k to book intra-Asia on KE. But, GUM-SIN can be done on CI through TPE as well. And, I believe Singapore Airlines is available for redemption of miles.
