I do not think the "Sheraton Club" exists anymore. Now, there is the Starwood Preferred membership program. I am a Gold member - will I have access to the lounge?
I would contact the hotel directly and ask about the SC; but more importantly I would contact the hotel directly to confirm that indeed they will actually be open in mid October when you are there.
The website states a scheduled October 1 opening, but IME these sorts of things have a tendency to get pushed back by a few weeks. If it does indeed open as scheduled - and you are there just two weeks after it opens - be prepared for issues [i.e., plugs that may not operate, issues with hot water, etc...] that will still need to be worked out.
