Tool for large year long multi-city to Asia

I'm planning my 2011 travels, and will be doing a year-long tour of Asia and Australia, starting from Europe. This is of course complicated by the fact that the end of the trip in December 2011 is over a year away.

The best method I've come up with so far is to split the trips up into 4 or 5 logical segments, roughly corresponding to one airline, then book each segment as a multi-city sequence of one-way tickets using Kayak and airlines' own websites.

Is anyone aware of any better tools to do this? In particular, are there any good round-Asia tickets sold on a similar basis to RTW tickets?

At the minute, I'm looking at BHD-LHR-DXB, DXB-KUL, KUL-PNH, PNH-SGN, SGN-HAN, HAN-HKG, HKG-NRT, NRT-ICN, ICN-PEK, PEK-XIY, XIY-CKG, CKG-SHA, SHA-HKG, HKG-SIN, SIN-DPS, DPS-SYD, SYD-???-BHD, though this is not final. The dates are entirely up to me (and I'm somewhat flexible), and flights will mostly be business class, with a slight preference for Star Alliance. I may end up using rail for some of the domestic legs in China.

Thoughts?
