I've used this for a car booking with Hertz and it worked out well. The guy had no idea what he was looking at but when I showed him the email confirmation he eventually figured it out. ^

Looking at hotels, I have reservations at a specific hotel I wanted to stay at next month for $900+ (5 nights). There's some 25% off miles promotion right now and the hotel ends up being something like 72000 miles to book. Then doing cash + 100 miles, I get it down to $670. Not a bad deal, I think.

Anyone have experience with any extraneous fees? The car didnt cost anything extra. Not sure how the hotel will go.

Im also seeing that there are no refunds: "Reservations made through the Site for hotel stays and car rentals cannot be canceled or refunded. Once redeemed, your miles may not be redeposited." Anyone know if reservation changes can be made?
