Unfortunately all my miles on UA have expired so I'd be building my account from 0 starting next week with a Y class trip to and from NRT. I have also lost my status at the new DL but have a handful of miles left after burning them, so no status match possible here.

I've had a look at those comparison charts someone so wonderfully put together, but honestly they don't make much sense to me!

Depending on how long they have expired and how many miles you lost, you may be able to "renew" them, especially if you start flying paid C on UA metal. If you are forced to start from zero, you might want to take a look at LH's program because I heard it's a great program for people flying paid premium tix. Can't comment on how NH's FFP compares to UA's.
