Was check in quick and efficient? Yes, pleasant efficient service at ticketing/ checkin processed upgrade cheerful and professional agent. Gate agent, alone at desk, was pleasant, cheerful and efficient, checked to make sure SWU bonus still applied (last day) did everything by the book but in a very efficient and pleasant way. great employee.

Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks?Yes Desk service was excellent and pleasant. Food ok but limited very few magazines or newspapers.

Onboard - J cabin:
Were the crew professional & well groomed? Yes, the front cabin in charge person was friendly attentive and efficient. She has to be one of the most cheerful people I have encountered in a long time, in a totally natural honest way, not as a role for the job. After the flight (I had been flying for 20 hours and was exhausted) I had forgotten my new ipad in the magazine pouch and her and the Captain returned it to me at the luggage drop belt. I was again impressed with her professional service.
I had a item lost on an flight a couple years ago and found the Toronto airport staff and lost in found telephone service unpleasant, seemingly unconcerned with customer inconvenience and slow. So I was delighted with the In charge and Captains attitudes.
If there was a delay, were you provided with timely updates? Yes delay due to engine startup problems, accurate timely updates.

Did crew offer to hang your jacket? Yes

Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (From takeoff to all items collected) 40 min?
How was the quality of all the meals? Very good for a mid length flight, pasta (my daughters) was a bit uninspiring, my chicken was quite good.
Did the cabin crew continuously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? As appropriate.
Great service all around.
Flight followed 8 domestic US and international flights in 16 days before mostly in J on US carrier and this flights customer service was best of all. The AC flight YYC - LAX, this return flight and others transpacific this year have all best better service than US carriers and have been very good to excellent for service.
