It is likely that UA used a hotel consolidator/wholesaler for the booking. The 7-digit number is likely the confirmation from wholesaler. The wholesaler holds a room without a name with the actual name sent over to the hotel within 24-48 hours of arrival date. Hope this helps in the future.
