So while attending the Taste of Beverly Hills event this weekend I was supposed to spend a night at the BW (Sunday) that a friend had set up. First no reservation to be found but, worse no power in the entire hotel. Power went out in the early morning and was certainly not on by 6:00 PM. I immediately went to the Peninsula rather than argue with the front desk about the misplaced reservation in a hotel without power. My friend joined the exodus around 6:00 PM. They literally suggested having a "cold" breakfast in the Blvd. whilst things were worked out.
