Switching from CO PLT to AA EXP

I am seriously thinking of making AA my primary carrier and going for EXP.

I am an AA PLT and a CO PLT, unfortunately CO/NW/KLM have raised biz prices (from as low as $1500 2 years ago to $4000 today) or cut service on my main international route Budapest-MIA. Domestically I do Fll/PBI-SFO/OAK alot.

My gripes against CO that make me think I should switch:
1. They started to charge for bags over 50 lbs.
2. Can't upgrade international.
3. Every 'enhancement' takes something away.
4. No million miler level

Why I may stay on CO or keep at least silver
1. Free domestic upgrades and high probability of getting it as PLT.
2. I have 600,000 OP miles
3. My lifetime PC membership.

I would welcome any fellow travelers thoughts.
