Fortunately my next ticket is on AA stock so no fuel fines at all so not bothered about codeshares for now

Resurrecting this thread for a timely query regarding codeshares.
I am looking at booking a o/w flight from Asia to NZ and wanted to renew my silver or perhaps bump up to Gold....
I have found a rather insane multicity route that picks up a number of BA codeshares on QF, something like SIN-MEL-ADL-SYD-WLG which as I understand it, if booked on BA no.s would yield 4x120TP's in J.
Am I still correct in this assumption? Does the first international leg (SIN-MEL) need to be on BA metal or will a QF metal on BA codeshare number suffice?
Secondly, I have not much clue on how to book this (my origin is not SIN

), does anyone have a suggestion of how I can book online and replicate the fare I found on ITA?
Lastly, I can't remember if a codeshare counts as a BA qualifying flight? yes/no?
cheers
