IME with a flight on BA metal but a ticket with a partner airline codeshare flight number then I see 2 PNRs in MMB. One is the BA PNR and the other is the partner airline PNR. I can OLCI for the flight on BA metal using the BA PNR.

However, I have only done this on flights with MA flight numbers, not AA, so YMMV.
